Hey team, please read below and weigh in so that I can respond to the powers that be. I want to make sure we have a solid showing at the tournament so that we have a really good chance of bring home that trophy!!
Captains-
It has been brought to the attention of the board that the date of the tournament – October 27th is the same Saturday that The Oregon Ducks play USC at home. This may not concern some, but we are hearing that there are quite a few teams that will have players missing due to them being season ticket holders and that fact that that is a HUGE game and people are planning to go down south for it.
Due to the concerns brought up we have looked into the possibility of changing the tournament day to the weekend before. Since we are a community, it is only right that all of us have a say or opinion in this matter. We do not want to make a big decision like this without the whole leagues input.
If we can find fields for the weekend of the 20th would it be an issue with changing the date of the tournament to ensure all players can be in attendance?
Also, if this is switched Sunday October 14th would be a doubleheader day just as an FYI in order to play the game that is scheduled for the 21st.
Please reply back with your opinion this week if possible. From the responses we will come to a conclusion on whether the date should be changed or not.

This sucks for me, I'm out of town from the 8th to the 14th for sure, so I'd miss the double header.
The dates don't affect me but not having a homerun kicker at the double header would suck.

The dates shouldn't affect me too much, I just need to know FOR SURE which days to request off work ahead of time so I can be with you guys chattering my head off on the field! Hey, we all have to be good at something right? LOL
