fund raising events and Q&A

Hello Captains,

PLEASE FORWARD THIS INFORMATION TO YOUR TEAMS.

As you may know, OKC has adopted Bradley-Angle house to be our charity for this year. The charity committee has been very busy organizing two earth shattering events to raise money for Bradley-Angle house. For more information on Bradley-Angle, here is their website --- http://www.bradleyangle.org/main_en.shtm.

Our first event for this season is a casino night. This event will take place at Selwood Public House on July 12th. We will give you all the exact time of the event soon. Casino night will have an entry fee of $20 per person. With this entry fee, the lucky patron gets 2 drinks and a bunch of play money. We will have poker, roulette, blackjack, and other casino games set up for the gambler to build up tons of play money. At the end of the night, we will auction various donated prizes for the play money that patrons have accumulated.

Our other event will be a bowling/silent auction event. The date of this event has yet to be solidified, but will most likely be sometime in September. As the name suggests, there will be bowling and a silent auction. We will be auctioning donations that you, OKC members, have solicited.

Now that you know what we've been up to, you must be asking yourself "Gee self, what can I do to help?" Lucky for you, there is a handy Q&A right below!

Q - "Hey guys, what you are doing sounds great, how can I get involved?"
A- Great question. There are 2 ways to get involved.
1) Donations - We can't make these events work without donations. We need you to get your entire team involved. Have your team members get donations. They can ask their company, their favorite restaurant, their friends, etc.. We need donations that will get the $$$ flowing for both the events.
2) Volunteer time - For the casino night, we are going to need dealers. Ever fashion yourself a high stakes Las Vegas dealer? Now is your time to do it! We also need people to get money at the door and hand out play money. Email if you are interested.

Q - "I or my teammates don't have much money, how can we donate?"
A - A great alternative to a traditional cash or product donation is that of a service. Everyone in OKC can do something to help. There are many hidden talents in this league. For example, 2 hours of landscaping... or a massage... or a vehicle tune up... or a gourmet dinner for 2. These types of things will bring in loads of dough for Bradley-Angle house.

Q- "Are the donations tax deductible?"
A- If you or the potential donor are concerned about whether your gift is tax deductible, please email us at this address. Bradley-Angle house has a tax ID number and everything!

Q- "Who is Bradley-Angle house?"
A - A great place to start in learning about Bradley-Angle house is their website.----- http://www.bradleyangle.org/main_en.shtm ---- Bradley Angle house provides much needed shelter for abused women and families. Liv, from the Ninjas, is the deputy director at Bradley Angle house. Her email is oliviamcclelland@gmail.com. She would would be happy to answer any further questions that are not answered here, or by the website.

Q- "Where can I ask further questions?"
A- Ask us, at this email.

Q- "Who are you?"
A- Cam Levine, Kendra Matthews, Joe Arnold, and Kelly Davis.

Q- "Is OKC going to raise a bunch of money for Bradley-Angle House and make everyone in the OKC feel good inside?"
A- You bet your ass we are.

If each team contributes, we can achieve truly amazing things. Let's do this.

THANKS!!!!

The fund raising committee
