New OKC Website

This is from the league.....if any of you are web savvy and would like to volunteer to put together something for the Cheaters page, that would rock! I will work on our history.

If you dropped in on the forum today, you knew this was coming: Zach has finished designing our website for this season and launched it today. Check out the awesomeness at the same address as ever, www.oregonkickball.com! So now it's time for a reminder to turn in content for your team page as requested a month and a half ago.

Or not :P

But what we're asking is much easier than the suggestion last year to make your own Flash page ;) And, if you're really good at delegating, or want some practice doing so, get other people on your team involved...

To recap (cut-and-pasted from my first e-mail):

- Your team MySpace or website URL, unless you're the Ninjas, Cheaters, Blueballers, Indies, Westside, Commandos, or Swash, 'cuz we already have those.

- As an attachment, an electronic file of the graphic you want to go in the lower right corner--a team logo, or picture of your mascot, or some other picture that helps "brand" your team. We have one for Swash.

- Your team's history; for example, who started the team (why? how? when?), what are the common links between members, what honors/recognition/awards has your team received, what's your team motto/philosophy. Nothing too long, about 150 words.

- Answers to any 3 of these questions:
1) If there was a kickball strategy or move named for your team, what would it be called and what would it be?
2) What community organizations/causes does your team support, and how?
3) Describe a highlight from a past season that had nothing to do with winning anything. (and didn't necessarily involve your own team)
4) Between all the aspects of both playing the actual game as well as socializing on the sidelines and off the field, what particular thing(s) does your team excel at?
5) If you couldn't play kickball, what would you do? (take that as literally or hyperbolically as you want to)

I really have no preference on the double header day....also, it looks like my schedule is going to change as of the first of the month so I'll have weekends off. (YAY!) I've switched with a guy at work as well giving me thursdays off for our games.
