Hey again Cheaters,
please weigh in on the following, for both my benefit and so I can forward it on the the league. Also, If you know of dates that you will not be around to play, please let me know so I can can keep track of how many people we will have playing in each game. Even if you think you have already told me, please let me know again (I've got you already brandi, thanks!)
2. Please check your calendars and poll your teammates for when we should have our fall doubleheader Sunday to give us our 22 games. We need to schedule this ASAP. We have a doubleheader already on Sat September 6th. And we want to space it out before our October 18th Finals Tournament. Which means our best choices are:
2a. Sunday Sept 21st
2b. Sunday September 28th (but we already know most of SLE will be unavailable)
2c. Sunday October 5th
3. The Social Committee would like to plan accordingly for our May 31st Pre-Season Mixer and pick-up games. We want to encourage as many people as possible to show up at 12:00 at Lents. Dust off your cleats, introduce your new teammates to each other, meet the new teams, and enjoy some frosty beverages (yes we will have an alcohol permit for this non-official get-together). Please forward on this info to your teammates and respond with an estimated number of participants who will likely show up. We want call dibs on enough fields and may possibly provide some beer as incentive for your attendance (if Social Committee can get the budget to work). And remember to keep this off the chat board.

Hey all,
Unfortunately, I can't make the event on the 31st of May since I also have dodgeball and then other plans afterwards. It's just my luck, I suppose. :P I'll have to get acquainted with all of you during our first game.
I will not be at the games on the 19th and 26th of June. I always go backpacking on some weekend(s) each summer, but I haven't scheduled that yet. So if I plan on going when we have weekend games, I'll let you know ASAP.
I'm open to any of the days listed for the other double-header.

I could say I'd try to make part of that but the truth is I'll be dodgeballin all day.
All those days in September sound fine to me, it's so far in advance that any would be great.

I can't possibly say what weekend would be better for me, what?, 4 or 5 months out. How 'bout any of the days SLE will be available, unless we are going to be playing SLE that day, in which case, let's vote for that day. But seriously, I don't care.
I'm with stephen, too early to say. I'll know a few weeks in advance of a game if there's a conflict. i'll be there for the 31st.
Any of those dates work for me. I will not be there on the 31st unfortunately but can't wait to play.
