First of all, congratulations on the non-shut-out season so far. We're not in last place or even last-last place. Let's keep up the good work.
Second, I will be taking up a collection for a new Cheaters tent. I borrowed Suzie's tent for our last double header and some swine 'got piggie wit it.' Please dig into your couches and chip in $5 for a new Piggie proof tent.
Third, if you have any interest in a weekly practice, chime in with your preferred day. Last year we tried to practice Tuesday nights at Oregon Park (not mandatory), but not everyone could make it so it might move to a weekend afternoon. You can't cheat without practicing at it.
Fourth, as a gang, we'd be cooler if we had some kind of symbol or mascot, etc. You know, for web site stuff, for temporary tattoos, or for no real reason at all. Gus had a good idea: a hand with a card up the sleeve. My two cents is that the card has to be the Ace of Spades, 'cause Motorhead says so. What position should the hand or fingers be in? Get creative and think about something that represents the Cheaters, cause nothing is set in stone. If anyone knows a good artist, even better.
Just for the fun of it, I looked up Cheat on an ASL web site:
http://www.aslpro.com/cgi-bin/aslpro/aslpro.cgi
ASL Cheater 1, 2 or 3 might make for good "signals" between the catcher and base coaches (Bunt! Sacrifice!) but it probably won't work for a team logo. And...we should probably practice before we mess up our gang signs in north Portland.
The answer to the question: It's a trick question. Lemmy is God.

I can't practice Monday and Wednesday evening. Weekend practices would be better for me but I can make TTHF work if I hafta. I live down the street from Kenton Park so if we want to move around parks to different locales from time to time I would vote for that.
Stephanie
We were thinking Sunday afternoons, how would that be for everyone?
I have to work at 6pm on a couple Sundays in order to have Thursdays off for our games but Sundays should work for me as long as its in the early afternoon.
sunday afternoons could work most of the time but it also interferes with my occasional wiffle ball schedule...oh i'm such an athlete these days
I like Sunday too.
I can do most Sundays!
And would be happy to host the first one at Oregon Park unless there is a better option.
